Episode 59: Paige Fetzer-Borelli - Dell
It's August, which means Congress will begin its month-long recess, and state legislative conferences will be held.
The conference locations have nothing to do with weather, and everything to do with politics, price, and which Governor was Chairman the year prior. This year we will be at two conferences - NCSL in Nashville, and ALEC in Austin.
Not many people head to Austin in August, but I have never been to either city and I am looking forward to the trips. We have many interviews lined up, and at ALEC we have a booth on the floor where we can do interviews, so come visit us!
Today we hear from Paige Fetzer-Borelli, the Director for Global Government Affairs and Public Policy at Dell. Paige has had some incredible jobs, including a year in Iraq where she worked with The Civil Society Development Institute of Iraq. That’s right - a year in Iraq.
Paige was also a Policy Advisor dealing with negotiations with China at the Treasury Department. Paige was also a PMF - Presidential Management Fellow - a very competitive and prestigious two year training program.
Paige was a great guest - very smart, and she's had a very interesting career path.
You also get to meet her dog!
